SSR Update

No renovation is going on. It was stopped along with everything else when the parks closed.

I haven’t been able to find out if the SSR construction is ongoing. There’s no reason for it to stop.
Construction stopped at WDW for monetary reasons (not because construction is not allowed), the SSR refurb is different as it is paid out of dues, and that money is sat there in an account (as of end of 2019, $72m is in the SSR capital reserve account).

The post is about three up from here!
It was widely reported at the time on several forums and news sites. All construction work stopped. If it had been continuing it would have been noticed, either by people like Bioreconstruct. Since only essential maintenance and security CMs remain un-furloughed,it isn’t likely they have people onsite doing room refurbs.
