SSE's Big Contradiction

I don't overreact. I really liked the 94 version of the ride, and I really dislike anyone who thinks the new version comes anywhere close to comparison. :brick:

I think it comes close. So...are we now mortal enemies locked in a life or death struggle?

I much preferred the Cronkite version to the 94 update, but I didn't give a rip if someone liked the Irons monotone better.

Ok, so then, where is the proof that people hate the ending?? A few people on this site and on other sites?? Who, by the way, could possibly be the same people???? The members of this board and on other boards make up a small fraction of the visitors WDW gets, and it wouldn't even amount to a quarter of the visitors.... So, saying an overwhelming majority hate the ending is really being far fetched.... And since no one is taking surveys, as you said, then there is no real way to know if the majority of people riding SSE hate the ending or love the ending, right?? You can only go by the few people here who don't care for it.... And again, they are far from the over whelming majority....

With that said, I'll wait until I see it in person to determine if I like it or not... I wasn't impressed with the video, but, I also wasn't too impressed with Everest when I watched that video either... it wasn't until I actually rode Everest for the first time in May that I saw how awesome the ride was.... And who knows, maybe they will shock us with that small little refurb in February, right before the grand opening....

While that's true, you cannot say the overwhelming majority enjoyed the ride. Based off of what we know, most people dislike the ride (the ending, at least, not really the whole ride). Based off of what we know... My bet is that the overwhelming majority doesn't care about the ending one way or another as long as it's just ok or average. We speak with what we know, not what we don't.

And who knows, maybe they will shock us with that small little refurb in February, right before the grand opening....

That's what I'm hoping for, but I have a feeling it's not going to happen. We'll have to wait and see. If they do anything, I'll probably be happy. That said, the ride is better in person than the videos, but it's not hard to tell that it's missing something. Even a few first time guests that I've talked to have noticed that something seems like it's missing in the ending. Unless they have a surprise for us in February, something was cut out of the ride (probably for budget reasons, I'm sure).
