Easter is coming (I'm afraid of the Easter Bunny), and that means another roundup in Frontierland. Maybe they'll have one for each holiday? That's what it's looking like. The date are March 28th to April 20th.

Starting March 28, Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree in Frontierland will be decked out in flowers and other springtime décor. Some of your favorite Disney characters will be stopping by to meet you, along with Mr. Easter Bunny and a carrot patch of famous Disney rabbits. Also several times each day, an energetic country band takes the stage, as a group of dancing cowboys and cowgirls come together for a lively hoedown and “bunny hop” that will get you off your feet and joining right in!
Springtime Roundup is going to bring all that excitement, plus egg art demonstrations, fun crafts, yummy treats and more. It all kicks off March 28 at Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree and keeps going all the way to April 20, so hop on down the Big Thunder Trail and join the fun!

While the events they put on in the Jamboree are nice, I don't like that some holidays are only celebrated in that corner of the park. It was lovely to see the Easter Bunny on Main Street last year, same with the characters at Halloween Time in their Halloween costumes years ago.

That's okay. "Mister Bunny" (the boys used to call the Easter Bunny "Mister Bunny") has to get started on next year's treasures. There's gonna be tons of awesomeness left for us in the parks. I can't wait!!!

I'm squeezing a visit in Apr. 4-5 (might catch EMH on the morning of the 6th, but I've got to catch a midday flight, so I'm not certain...).
I'm always up for DLR special offerings! I think I may just have to check it out!

For what it's worth, Raven...I'm not afraid of the Easter Bunny but I'm a little creeped out by the bunny silhouettes on the Roundup sign!

According to touring plans, it will be an 8 out of 10. I will be there Wed. to Good Friday, when it is expected to be a 10 on all three days. Maybe the earthquakes will scare some people from coming.
