New rule, NO GIFS OF POLITICAL 'PEOPLE'. I say this for two reasons: 1. I don't want fights to start (and I'm half liable to start them) and 2. I'm of the opinion that there's one way to vote and I'm not about ready to start spouting about politics (little known fact, I want to work in politics, I'm not exactly a nice person when it comes to this sort of stuff). You all can guess as to my party affiliation but let's leave the politics out of this thread. Thanks!

In 2012 it was also flaunted, but carried less weight.
Mitt did a great job with the Salt Lake Olympics, completely agreed.

All that being said, this is probably why @LittleGiants16 prefers we not use political figure gifs. We aren't:
1) fighting
2) debating
3) discussing
But, it is turning into commentary, which will lead to the 3rd option, eventually the second, and with bad results, the first.
Best to leave it alone.

Gentlemen, I wasn't trying to say that the gif was political. All I was saying is I'm trying to keep all things remotely linked to politicians out of my thread. I've seen threads totally derailed by something as innocuous as a small joke. Things happen. I wasn't ever mad. I just don't want to see the thread derailed. That's all.

No, I meant 2007/2008, the GOP Primaries. Romney didn't just run in 2012. He was the top horse (excuse the term) against McCain in the GOP Primaries.
His work in Salt Lake was often brought up in the debates and press releases.
