Spring Break

The parks will be quite crowded but not totally unmanageable. If you can delay or bring your trip forward a few weeks I would recommend it though.

If you do book during spring break then make your ADR's a full 180 days from the beginning of your trip, make good use of fastpass, turn up for parades and shows early and don't plan on doing everything in one day.

Crowded or not, you're still in Disney and you will have a great time!

Spring break can't be moved, the school district sets it. If you have kids in school you go during break or the summer.

We have always gone over spring break and we manage to achieve every attraction, enjoy shows and parades, have two meals, and plenty of down time. March should be fine, seeing Easter is semi-late.

We always find it so empty when we go in October or other times, seeing we usually go the week of easter.

I went in March this year (March 4-11thish or something like that. I'm forgetful) and, honestly, the crowds weren't ever THAT bad--- they weren't anything like mid-July crowds, at least. I went to visit my grandparents though, so I didn't get to do a lot of big ticket rides, but I remember that BTMRR was about a half hour wait, Space Mt probably about 40 minutes, and the Epcot big ones were the same as always.

Hope that helps just a little!

We are looking at taking a trip to WDW in March over Spring Break. How are the crowds? Any Advice?

My kids had spring break last April

No more cr0wded than usual, we were able to get into BCV after being waitlisted for a month or so. and it was in the middle of Flower & Garden as well.

I went over Spring Break this past March, right around Easter. I thought it was horrific. I was also there this past July and found it better than Easter.

However, in past Spring Breaks that are not around Easter, I've found the crowds very manageable. Easter is in April this year, so you should be good.

I just saw that our Spring Break is the week of Easter.....great...... :(

We had that happen a couple of years ago and it was a madhouse. So, just use Fast Passes, go early in the day, and make ADRs for dining.

But as stated above, it's Disney and there is no better place to be! :sohappy:

There is no escape. It will be crowded. If you don't like crowds the only alternative is to take you kids out of school earlier and go before the break actually starts. If you cannot do that, the only other thing to do is go, relax, be patient and you will be fine. Make sure you have hopper tickets so that if one park is too crowded you can always hop over to another for a while....

Thank You

That is helpful. We went last year during July 4th week so I think I can handle it!!! I won't mind the crowds so much as long as the weather is a bit nicer than summer. :sohappy:

The weather is MUCH better than July! We have found that if your break is the week leading up to Easter then it will be VERY busy, if it is the week after Easter then is will be more quiet. Either way, take advantage of EMH whenever you can, use Fastpass as much as possible and you should do well. We love to go in the late winter/early spring as it's a nice break from the northeast winters. :D
