Spring Break 09

So, we are very close to booking our Orlando 2009 holiday however just require a tad of your fantastic assistance.... !!

We can go with virgin holidays on 4 April, 18 nights staying offsite for £400 cheaper than a week later - the time we normally go.

In 05 we were there beginning of April with one of our weeks hitting the US's spring break - we are thinking we may hit it again in 2009 if we opt for the cheaper price and go early April.

Has anyone any idea what dates spring break is in 2009? I presume like over here different states have different holidays but do you guys think we will hit it at all?

I'm guessing the price hike is for Easter - go with the cheaper option SB can't be as bad as Easter crowds

I would've thought that too but i could've sworn easter is in March time 2009 - i'm just trying to find it..........if that isnt the case then i have answered my own question havent it :brick:- with a little help from yourself of course :wave: !!

Yep i think what i've done is looked at 08 easter........its during march next year, doh !!!!

I think we will have to have a re-think - May prices arnt out yet - ok so what do you guys think about going before easter 09 i.e 4 April - what are the crowds like and when does spring break normally begin....before or after easter?

Easter will be late in 2009 ... April 12. Our spring break in '09 will be March 28 through April 5. We always go spring break (teacher) and have never thought much about it

The Spring Break Schedule for my daughter will be March 20th-30th. Ten Days!! I think we may go to Disney after Easter, or come the day of. I haven't experienced a mass in the Contemporary. I think that would be cool!
