Spring 2014 planning

Can anyone give me an idea if the last week of March to the first week of April would be a good time to go to Disney World? Do I have to worry about Spring Break then or crowds, or even tour groups? We had to cancel our trip recently and we are thinking about planning for this time. I have never been at this time before so if I could get an idea about how the weather would be that would great also.

Spring does have Spring Break people, but the weather is usually better than summer. Can't predict weather, though.

No matter when you go, there will be some drawback. Hot, cold, rainy, crowded, etc. Crowds can be better dealt with by using a good plan.

If you're lucky, you'll be there during Flower & Garden and will get to see Epcot at its prettiest. :)

Spring has larger crowds, especially Easter week. And the weather can be anything from hot to chilly.

My favorite part about spring is the Epcot F&G Festival. There are some amazing shrubberies there!

Anytime during the month of March-middle of April is very crowded due to spring breaks with schools throughout the country.

If you are looking to go during a slower time I would go te last 2 weeks of April or first 2 weeks of May! It really makes such a difference...

Easter is late this year, the 20th of April, so you will miss the Easter crowds which is good. But you may run into school spring breaks that aren't off at Easter. I checked touring plans for you.
It says Spring Break crowds end on the 30th of March. I did a quick check of random dates in late March prior to this date and they were all high crowd levels but starting after this date, the crowd levels went down quite a bit. So as long as you book after the 30th of March, you should be okay.
