Carey Poppins - Nanny and Disney Enthusiest
Hi All,

So I was totally inspired by the fact that the itinerary link was down today on waltdisneyworld.com and by other WDWMagic members who have made these, and I made my own spreadsheet!! I added more to others that I have seen. And I have to say, i'm pretty proud!! ha ha  If you want a copy, PM me or leave your email. I'm currently working on getting it onto google!!

I love it.

Now, I must admit, even I am not that fanatical about planning, but I still appreciate it!:)

:shrug:My wife would kill me if I presented something like this to her. Maybe I will before our next trip, just for "reference":drevil:

I can't believe that there is someone else in this world as obsessive as me!

This is my first post on this website! I have been to WDW one time, about 20 years ago. We are planning a trip, Me, hubby, 5 yo son, 3 yo daughter and my mom (Nana). I have figured out accomodations and am working with a travel agent. So, the next step is an itinerary. HELP...you're obviously the pro! We're going in September (7 nights). There is so much out there, I don't know where to begin.

Our flight will arrive prior to check in at our resort. I know they'll take care of our luggage so we can go out and about to a park, but what should we do that first day? The flight will arrive around 10:30 am. Which park? Or, can we just hang out at the resort pool? I just don't know.

We seem to always start out our first half day with the MK. It's kind of a celebration of "we're here!!!" We watch parade(s), Wishes, go on favorite attractions with short wait times and just absorb the magic of WDW.

Looks good!! I can't plan it down to the hour though - LOL.

Mine lists the daily park hours and parades, with ADR's listed at the bottom of each day.

It's on an Excel spreadsheet and I have NO IDEA how to post that here.

Welcome to the boards Heather!!:sohappy:

Since you are going for a week and you have enough time to visit all the parks, I would say enjoy your first day at WDW and relax by the pool and then head to Downtown Disney for dinner at either Rainforest Cafe or T-Rex.

Welcome to the boards Heather!!!

Oh yes, we have a who group of OCD Planners! It's the best! A place to share our planning ideas! I love coordinating outfits for pics - not matching - but coordinating! And I love love love to plan! :ROFLOL:

Oh lots of questions! How many days do you have tickets for? What are some MUST DO'S? Any ADR requests? I always begin at MK - its a great tradition to say "We're Here!" This trip, we are spending the first day, arrival day, at the resort and just swimming and getting settled. If you want to PM we can chat more about it!!! YEAH! Welcome! :sohappy:

This is only a portion of the planning! ha ha! :ROFLOL: Once I make the ADR's and get confirm numbers and add them then the itinerary is final. From there - I make individual cards for each day - special events, things to buy, times, and ADRs. Together with the daily times guide and maps, it goes in the back pack!
