Trip Report Spoopy Time in the Sunshine State 🎃👻

I leave tomorrow morning for Orlando.

Will be doing both MNSSHP and HHN at Universal + other things, depending upon the time I have.

This was a trip I was thinking of doing, but didn't really commit to until a couple weeks ago, so we'll see how the last minute planning works out!

This was, 2015, one day it's Halloween, 24 hours later, boom-it's Christmas!

Not even a leftover Halloween item to be found in the stores. (I of course was looking for some on sale Halloween merchandise)!

On Saturday we took the boat over from Contemporary to Wilderness Lodge hoping to see the decorations, but they weren't up yet. Still it was fun to ride the boat and then we took another to get to Magic Kingdom before riding the monorail to Poly for lunch.

It was my first time dining at Kona Cafe and I had probably the best cheeseburger I've ever had at WDW there.

This was up as of Nov 1, so I had to get a gingerbread cookie, but it wasn’t very good...

But the display was pretty!

You know, I remember a time when all WDW Christmas decorations "magically" appeared the day after Thanksgiving!

I've read mixed reviews about Kona, good to know there's a good cheeseburger to be had in there.

I like the scent and look of gingerbread cookies, but I'm not a fan of the taste. The display at the Contemporary is cute.

I got home early Sunday morning. This was a short 4-day trip split evenly between Universal and Disney.

Now that I have an AP for Universal I'm already looking at when to go back next year and whether I want to add another day or two at WDW.

Maybe next year you'll choose either Halloween or Christmas?
