Just wondering what others thought about Spoodles. I checked the menu and it looks decent. I was hoping to get other peoples opinions about it......mind you we leave in 29 days so changing it to get a better ADR would be difficult. Oh and we are a grand gathering of 10 people with 4 kids.

We've only eaten there for breakfast. We always get the Breakfast Platter and LOVE it. We're trying dinner there for the first time in October, if it's anything like the breakfast it will be great.

Great

The breakfast at Spoodles is fantastic! We usually stay at the Boardwalk and have made it a tradition to eat breakfast their at least once a trip.

Dinner is good too! I guess this just depends on what you're looking for but I think it's better than the typical park fare. Great atmosphere too...very good for large families.

Make sure to make a priority seating or get their early, the wait can get VERY long! (people just don't want to leave!)

I thought this was a thread about me for a second. Obviously we really like it. We like the atmosphere with the open kitchen, unique light fixtures, and so on, and we love the Mediterranean food.

Have a great time.

(How funny, we're from Rochester too.)

We've eaten at Spoodles twice.

I'd give it a pretty average rating. The food is so-so, very tasty but not super exciting. It's a mix of Mediterranean cuisine, so dishes range from pasta to couscous and hummus. We've found the menu is a bit limited, but if you order a good dish, you'll probably end up liking it.

The restaurant itself is GORGEOUS, the decorations are so beautiful.

I've always made one of the earliest dinner reservations possible, so usually the place is pretty empty when we ate there. Even so, the service was a little slow.

I think the deserts are the best part...kids will love the build your own sundae in which all the components are served separately on an artist's palette.

Enjoy if you do go :)

We eat at Spoodles on every trip if we can. Love the food and can't wait to go again in October. Afterwards we like to roam around the Boardwalk.
Give it a try. Have fun.

My wife and I enjoy Spoodles. The food is good, but not spectacular, and the setting and ambiance are very nice.

That said, we find it disappointing compared to what it was when it opened -- an actual tapas restaurant. But that menu was apparently too unfamiliar to too many Disney guests, and they changed it.

I have to agree with a previous poster. Spoodles was absolutely great when it opened. The original tapas like menu was great. The first revamp of the menu to make it more appealing to a wider group was great also. However, menu and staff changes since that time have made it average to below average. It has gone from one of our favorite must dos to a maybe. If this is a choice between spoodles and another restaurant with you missing one if you don't go there this time, I wouldn't just jump at Spoodles.

Heading for the great escape.
I do still like Spoodles but feel the reduced menu and safe dishes have taken away some of what made it different. If people want burger and fries style food there are plenty of counter service places

Had some of the best service at Disney there.
