Another great Episode. As mentioned, for such a small scale, the AT-ST was so imposing and added real scale. I assume the mercenaries accommodated after the empire?

Gina was great and I can’t wait to see her character develop.

also, what is it currently with Star Wars and Red eyes? The AT-ST, the jawas and C3PO in TRoS

We previously saw them tripping over logs, in one of the franchise's less stellar installments
Speak for yourself, I LOVE return of the jedi! Lol
A lot of people complain that about the show being doled out in short installments, but I like it. First of all, it's a TV show, that's how it's supposed to be.
You could call it complaining but that has too much negative with it. It's not so much a complaint as a, the show is so good we just can't get enough. I don't think anyone really counts the run time as a negative against the show. It's more of a, man that lobster tail was freaking delicious, I sure wish I could eat another one right now! So not having 2 lobster tails isn't really a complaint against the meal.

Isn't this great that this is the kind of stuff we are going back and forth on? It really tells you a lot about how good the show has been.

That's true. I'd also like to see the second season get more episodes. We're already half-way in the first season.

Eh, I think all too often shows like this have too many episodes and end up getting "filler". I'd rather have a well done shorter season that is more "tightly" executed.

In this case, I think the bigger issue is that there should be more series of the caliber of The Mandalorian on Disney+ - if there were similar quality series coming out every 2-3 months, then each one having shorter seasons wouldn't be a big deal.

I do agree, that is what pushed me away from TV. But that was the standard 24ish episodes at 45ish minutes each. I think a good length would be 40 to 50 min episodes depending on need, with 10 total episodes. Realistically, you want them to write what they need to tell the story proper. And if that is 30min episodes or 1hr, so be it. I don't think they need to tie themselves down to any set time. But I do get the sentiment of wanting ot longer. Because when you really enjoy something you always want more of it.

I’m currently watching it for the second time. I think the episode is a little clunkier this episode, but the visuals continue to be gorgeous (and Baby Yoda continues to be adorable).

Bryce Dallas Howard directed the episode, directing Star Wars must in the Howard genes.
Yeah this episode did feel a bit different this time around. Episode 3 is still the pinnacle for me but I think it was nice to see another side of Mando. I think a part of him did want to stay.
Great throw back to the first time we met Yoda. He was very curious as well and rummaged through Lukes stuff.
I get the feeling that was more of an act. I think he already knew what Luke was there for and was testing him for patience as we see later when he ceases the charade.
I was impressed how they made the AT-ST really imposing and intense as a weapon of war. We previously saw them tripping over logs, in one of the franchise's less stellar installments, so this was nice to see.

The action scenes are much smaller in scale than what we see in the movies, but still feel very cinematic and impressive.

A lot of people complain that about the show being doled out in short installments, but I like it. First of all, it's a TV show, that's how it's supposed to be. Second, this show wouldn't work well in large doses in my opinion. The slow pace works for TV and the weekly installments. If the first four episodes had been released all at once, people would binge it like a movie and be complaining they just spent two hours watching it only to have very little happen, plot wise.
Gotta admit I did chuckle a bit when they were talking about how bad the AT-ST was when all I could think about was how they were easily taken out by Teddy Bears. They did do a good job with it though.
