Bummed no one else wanted to continue the song. :p

I enjoyed this episode more than the first two - the action scenes were fun and I can never resist a flipping through the air Hawkeye move - but still kinda meh about Hailee and think there could have been more interesting casting for Kate.

I like Echo though (both child and adult actresses) and am looking forward to seeing more of her in the next few episodes (and spinoff). Of course what I'm most hoping for is (more of) her uncle! πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ˜

I mean, that had to be his hand pinching her cheek, right???

Not to mention someone's not-so-subtle tweet...

Please, Marvel, all I want for Christmas is
Kingpin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing like a car chase in New York going through The Gulch.

It’s weird how the car chase started so cool with the rotating view but then became painfully obvious digital backgrounds and effects.

Another mildly enjoyable episode. Series still isn't wowing me but I'm definitely enjoying the cute grumpy Clint moments. I swear he's going to grow up to be Carl from UP. lol

Seeing various theories online about the watch and what the Laura implications are from this episode, but just going along for the ride for whatever happens. However, if it does turn out that
she is Mockingbird/another super hero/a former Hydra agent etc., I'm totally down for a team-up series with the two of them. And not Kate.

Dog still cute. Hailee still not really interesting me. Still waiting for more of Echo but we may not get much more until her own series at this rate as they seem to be juggling a lot of stories and characters here. Not really enthused by Yelena's presence. Had forgotten she was supposed to be in this since it's taken so long for her to show up. Still really irritated by Tony Dalton's 80's hair and 'stache. It's just... bad.

I mean seriously - how do you get from this total Errol Flynn look:

To this Mario Brothers look:

I mean...

I just wanna know what those stylists were thinking!

I know Kevin Kline is too old at this point, but he would've killed in this role back in the day!

Yea I agree. I'm enjoying the show for the most part. I too like Clint in this. I just wish it was more the Hawkeye show and less the Kate show. The way they keep having Clint promise he'll be home. Just makes me think he isn't making it out of this show.

THISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

But the point is to pass the baton... err... the bow... from all the old guys/gals to the new girls:

Iron Man to Ironheart (by way of War Machine/Rhodey)
Captain America to America Chavez (by way of Sam Wilson)
Thor to Jane Foster/Mighty Thor
Loki to Sylvie
Hulk to She-Hulk
Black Widow to younger Black Widow
Hawkeye to Kate Bishop
Captain Marvel to Ms. Marvel (by way of Spectrum/Photon/whatever they're calling Monica)
Black Panther to Shuri? (speculation but it was done in comics) Otherwise maybe Okoye or Nakia.

And eventually Peter Parker to Miles & Gwen (already happened in Spider-Verse)

I'm sure I'm forgetting more.

Well, that’s progress for you...

There's the youth replacements for a possible Young Avengers:
  • Iron Man to Ironheart {Riri Williams} (by way of War Machine/Rhodey)
    • and/or Ironlad, a Kang variant
  • Captain America to America Chavez Eli Bradley, grandson of Isaiah Bradley, the first Captain America (by way of Sam Wilson)
  • America Chavez is her own thing
  • Loki to Sylvie Kid Loki from the Loki series
  • Hulk to She-Hulk She's too old for Young Avenger
  • Black Widow to younger Black Widow (is Yelena too old for Young Avengers?)
  • Hawkeye to Kate Bishop
  • Captain Marvel to Ms. Marvel (by way of Spectrum/Photon/whatever they're calling Monica)
  • Black Panther to Shuri? (speculation but it was done in comics) Otherwise maybe Okoye or Nakia.
  • Scarlet Witch's children: Wiccan & Speed
  • Joaquin Torres from FatWS becoming the new Falcon
  • possibly Ant-Man's daughter (Cassie) becoming Antish (Stature)

Adult Replacements
  • Thor to Jane Foster/Mighty Thor {I doubt Natalie will stick around to be Thor in several movies/series.}
  • She-Hulk replacing Hulk
  • Captain America now Sam Wilson
  • Sylvie as the new adult Loki

There has been some rumors of two Avengers variations...
One - West Coast Avengers - that was started by Hawkeye, and this could potentially happen...
Or Space Avengers - we get Capt. Marvel in charge, and add GotG, Thor, Nova and some others.

But I would not be shocked if this was to lead to the end of Hawkeye as a main character, be more of a mentor brought in once in a while to help Kate out.

Totally agree it looks like setting up Young Avengers as well. But still also note the large amount of replacements of older male characters to younger female ones.

While America Chavez as a character bears no connection to the Cap role, she was still introduced as "Miss America", so it was going from Captain America to "Miss America".

I liked this last episode but I just don't feel like we will get a satisfying end with jus one episode left. We should have got this reveal at the end of the 2nd episode. I still think the Disney shows are just too short. They need more, and longer, episodes in my opinion.

So, for me, this is the best new Marvel series up there with WandaVision. I made my displeasure known about Falcon/Winter Soldier, Loki was fine, and What If was fine too…nothing spectacular. There is just something about this one that checks all the marks for me in a big way.

KINGPIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Now THIS was what I was waiting for!

Wish they'd skipped the four filler episodes and just started here!

THIS was a good episode! Frankly, this was what the originally planned standalone movie should've been (minus all the Kate Bishop stuff - just Clint vs. Echo and Yelena).

I enjoyed this episode more than anything else Marvel on Disney+ after "Falcon & Winter Soldier" which is still my fave. But this episode? YASSSS PLEASE!

I loved the big ol' hint of "Fat Man Used Cars" and then the end graphic of Kingpin looming over the city.

I've missed him so much!

I will try to keep my expectations tempered as I can't expect the writing for this show to be at the Daredevil level (which along with Luke Cage and Punisher were damn perfect series). But Vincent D'Onofrio back in the white suit? That's Christmas made for me! πŸ’˜πŸ’˜πŸ’˜

Though only one more episode, darn it. Well, maybe he'll figure into the Echo series eventually. (PLEASE DON'T SPOILER IF HE'S IN NO WAY HOME PLEASE THANK YOU!)

P.S. mom as villain. Who saw that coming? Oh, wait, everyone. Never mind then.

Will admit to not spotting the mom villain twist.

The girls night in was the highlight of the episode for me.

The man in the white suit is only a huge yes from me if he brings with him the man in the red suit. And I don't mean Santa πŸ˜‰

I thought Vera Farmiga has been telegraphing the villain thing from the start - to me it seemed she'd done everything but literally wink at the camera. :D But I'm sure the writers appreciate it being a surprise twist to others!

I loved both the girls night and the mom/daughter bonding in this (even if mom turned out to be a baddie).

And oh I'd love that man in the red suit, too! :devilish: But if he shows up somewhere else soon, PLEASE don't spoiler it in this thread without spoiler tags! :)
