The planning for this trip May 19-27 started in November last year after I received a precious pin code in my email. I couldn't say no to that. ;)

Eventually I ended up getting a better rate when the AP discounts came out(dh had an AP at the time), so I rebooked for the same resort, The Cabins at Fort Wilderness.

Who was going: me, dh, and the 4 kiddos(dd15, ds13, dd9, dd6). Who we were leaving at home(3 dogs, 3 cats, 1 cockatiel, and a dear SIL who was housesitting for a price. ;))

We were headed toward breakfast in France. The plan was to eat breakfast there and then slowly make our way towards our fast passes of the day. Our walk was pretty quiet because most were scrambling toward any place other then France. :)

I'm
It was pretty quiet in Les Halles. Evrything always looks so darn delicious and it is always hard to choose what to get although my favorite pastry is the pain au choclate. :)

Dd6 had the container of macarons. Dd9 had the strawberry tart, dd15 had the brie and apple sandwich, ds had a plain baguette and I think dh had a Napoleon. I don't have pics from today of the food, but I do have some from another day. We kind of had the same menu items for breakfast each time we ate there. :D

Empty! :)

Wow it is empty! Perfect!
I think your dd15 made a delicious menu choice. I could go for a Brie and Apple sandwich right now!

Within minutes kids had called there beds. Dh slept on the pull-out in the living area. It is a queen size bed. The mattress is like a wanna be tempurpedic. I think the bed in the bedroom is a full. The mattress was super comfy.

The kitchen has a full size fridge, cooktop, convection/microwave oven and a full sized dishwasher. The cabinets and drawers are stocked with dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, pots, cutting board, utensils, etc. Basically just about anything you need to cook and eat except for the food. There is exactly enough for 6.
Wow! That looks much better than I expected.

We had an ADR at Raglan Road this evening but instead of driving to DS or taking the bus, I came up with a more relaxing route. We drove to POR and parked in the lot there. Then we walked to take a boat ride on the Sassagoula. :)

After a pleasant cruise through the coolest green houses ever, it was time to try some of the food offerings of the festival. First we passed some beautiful topiaries.

I had been curious about the vegan crabcake, so that was where we were headed. I had previously tried to make a vegetarian version of a crabcake and let's just say that it did not turn out well. :oops:This on the other hand was amazing!!! :hungry:Dh and dd15 tried it as well and they gave it 2 thumbs up. I wish I could get that recipe. So if anyone knows it, please share. :)

After the small snack we went to Mexico and went on a cruise to travel the waters of the beautiful pavilion. :)

It seemed there was a bit of a hold up in the line when we got there, but after a minute or 2 it started to move real quick

San Angel seemed quite busy. We have never eaten there. Too many bad reviews. It's a shame because it is so pretty.

A light for @Doc Disney .:)

I love the fake fireworks. Maybe it was just me, but they seemed much brighter than when we rode last.

The 3 Caballeros. I like the animatronics but prefer the old cartoon better.

After the ride, I noticed that they were still offering the Easter egg hunt, so I purchased a map Having eaten in France that morning, we had already found that egg. So we meandered through the countries searching for the hidden eggs. Some were tough to find. I actually love stuff like this because it forces you to slow down. It's also great for kids to use observational skills. They all seem to have their noses stuck in some sort of electronic device that they lose that skill. So we all had fun and the kids took turns placing stickers.
