Based on pics and people peaking thru the walls, it seems like its a bit behind. That's just what it looks like though so don't take my word for it 100%

no people people! I totally agree with you but the one I went to in Tampa is a ton of fun. There is a club, dining, and music too not just bowling. I miss a lot of the night life atmosphere that PI had so I was kind of excited to here about the opening of splitzville to be honest :)

The other locations do. They also only allow patrons over age 21 after 8pm. If the Downtown Disney location follows the same structure, it could be a good start to returning some adult-only nighttime entertainment to the area.
Exactly the reason for my excitement of this opening up.

I think a lot of people may wish to bowl on vacation.

Loads of people don't buy tickets that cover their arrival day and are always asking what they might do. Bowling.

People who believe Ye Olde "It doesn't rain in Orlando in the rainy season" line...and then find out that it does and they want a break from the rain...Bowling.

Wat to do when you just can't take the heat or cold any longer? Bowling.

Mom and dd are going to BBB, but what could dad and boys do while the girls do that? Bowling.

Remember, there are a good chunk of people who don't rent a car and are stuck on the Disney property. Their options are very, VERY limited. Bowling might work out very well for them.

I think they'll have to relax the dress code. I think they'll need to allow kids to stay until nine or ten p.m.

But I think a lot more people might go there than some folks predict.

We will see. :)

Honestly the first thing that pops into my head for this is a date night with my hubby. On very rare occasions... ok one occasion since DS6 was born... we've taken advantage of the in-room babysitting services and gone out together to DtD (we did DisneyQuest the first/only time). We were playing with the idea of doing it again one night and if we did we'd probably do this. Now that said... every time I think about that plan I picture DS6 with us having a blast so I'm sure it'll go out the window and we'll all go together (i.e. dress code needs to be relaxed lol). :D

I can't wait for Splitsville to open. There are definitely not enough places in Disney to hang out with friends and have some drinks late at night.
