Yes, unless they've introduced Park Tickets with a "Not Valid Before" dateWill I be able to start using my park tickets at POP?
I really hope so! All my plans would be screwed up.Yes, unless they've introduced Park Tickets with a "Not Valid Before" date
Just check that they're on your MDE account and you should be good to go
asked the Disney live chat and this was the answer.
Sanders: I see. You would need to visit Disney's Coronado Springs Resort on the date of your arrival in order for the front desk to issue you actual tickets for the dates prior the vacation package would start. You will not have access to make Fastpass® + selections prior to your package either except on the day that visit the parks through one of our FP+ kiosk
I'm a little skeptical of Sanders's answer. I'm not sure why you would have to visit Coronado Springs before you've checked in there, to pick up "actual tickets," when you already have valid "virtual" tickets linked to your MDE account. I have a split stay coming up (room-only, followed by package-with-tickets) and was told (by two different CMs on Disney's help line) the same thing that @CAPTAIN HOOK said -- that my tickets would be usable and active beginning 10 days prior to my package check-in date, so long as I had the package properly linked to MDE.
I do understand and agree, however, that you cannot make FP+ in advance for any days prior to your package's check-in date (even if you can technically start using your tickets to enter the parks on those days) -- FP+ for any pre-check-in days are limited to day-of FP+, which can't be made until you've actually entered a park, which is what I think Sanders was trying to say in his/her second "sentence."
why is this so difficult . I trust you, not sanders LOL for all we know its his first day on the job. I thought it sounded odd to go to CSR before checking in there
