Splash Queue

I could be wrong, but I seem to remember entering the splash queue just after the viewing bridge (heading towards BTMRR). Did they reroute the queue years ago, or am I just remembering wrong? :shrug:

There is an entrance there, but it wasn't used all the time. IIRC, it was used when the crowds were really light.

I haven't seem it open in YEARS. I doubt it will ever open again due to them wanting to route everyone to the Fast Pass / Standby split.

That's what I thought. Drawing a blank on IIRC (long day).

My folks and I were sitting talking about our first trip to WDW in 1993 and we could all remember the queue going down that way, just couldn't find any pictures of it.

I actually believe it was the opposite. The queue entrance near the drop was used when the park was very busy so they had more space for everyone. Then there was a period of time I believe where it was used as the main entrance the whole time (probably when the Fastpass area was being added).
