It's pretty clear to me that Splash Mountain is in serious need of a change in theme. Any suggestions?

It's based off a movie that barely anyone has ever seen and Disney wants you to think doesn't even exist.

I think any movie would be a better theme than what SM has now.

But why fix what isn't broken? Splash Mountain is a classic attraction approaching its 25th anniversary in WDW so why change it?
Why the need to re-theme a timeless attraction that people love even if they haven't seen the movie ?

Maybe change it as a celebration of it's 25th anniversary? I just feel like there's so much more they could do with this ride.
I mean every single Disney movie would work better than this one!
