Have to agree with KBQueen on this one. Have ridden "Collosus" at Six Flags Magic Mountain backwards (back in summer of '84-they had one side running forward and one side backward), and was extremely dissapointed. Was quite scared before the ride started, but once on the ride, noticed the "lack of knowing what was next" factor, was a big let down. Rode backwards once more, but rode forwards 19 times. Found it much more exciting facing your fears, rather than avoiding them. I think that by riding Splash backwards, you would miss most of the detail of the ride. I notice on "Maelstrom" in the Norway pavilion at Epcot, I'm constantly turning around to see what's next, so I don't miss it.
