1. Pirates of the Caribbean. An absolute masterpiece of an attraction with amazing wit, humor, music, set pieces, and audio animatronics.
2. Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. Truly a classic and as a lover of American history, especially Civil War era, the attraction holds a special place in my heart.
3. Mark Twain Riverboat. Another classic like Mr. Lincoln that acts as a love letter to American history, specifically the American West.
4. Indiana Jones Adventure. It's not perfect by any means, but Indiana Jones was always my favorite over Han Solo as a kid. Still is, honestly. The attraction does a great job at recapturing the adventure of the films while being something new and unique.
5. Splash Mountain. I wish the ride wasn't as fast as it is, but its large audio animatronic cast designed by the brilliant Marc Davis really helps it stand on its own against other greats like the aforementioned Pirates of the Caribbean.

I'd love to give a few quick shout outs to the Disneyland Railroad, The Haunted Mansion, the original Star Tours, Country Bear Jamboree, and Big Thunder Mountain. All great attractions but didn't make the list for one reason or another.

Cool list. Like how you threw Mr. Lincoln & Riverboat in your top 5. I feel vindicated that I selected you for the HOB.

The new yeti is in my five favorite animatronics at Disneyland list.

Those five are the auctioneer, new Harold, the baby elephant on the Jungle Cruise, Mr. Lincoln, and Br'er Rabbit. Honorary mentions being the original Rex, Henry, and the original G2 droids. Just in case anyone was wondering this list, as well.

I’m partial to the elephant sitting in the waterfall on JC. Why they don’t make more merch for him/ her is beyond me. This list must not include DCA AAs huh? Because Ursula, Hopper and Rocket are pretty impressive.

They wouldn't make the list anyway. They're impressive from a technological standpoint just as the Shaman N'avi is at DAK, but none of them have the charm of the ones I've listed. If Grizzly River Run had a realistic looking grizzly bear, even if a simple animatronic like the black bears from Nature's Wonderland, it probably would've made my list.

Selecting Lincoln as part of your Top 5 is such an HOB thing to do. To me that just cemented him even further into the HOB than ever before. But can it be true? Can Lincoln possibly be in anyone’s Top 5?
Lincoln's a seriously great attraction. The Battle Hymn of the Republic at the end is really what cements it for me. Such a beautiful piece of music.

I need to see it again. I might get my Disneyland card revoked for saying this but I’ve only seen it once and I was kind of bored. I was also sitting way in the back and not really paying attention. I like the fact that Lincoln still exists though and that it provides a different type of experience at DL. Most of all I like the old school lobby.

I for one am glad Lincoln still exists, but I would be all for moving it to say the Disney Museum at this point. And then use the space for a new AA show, such as a condensed version of the Hall of Presidents.

I've only seen it once myself. I caught the last showing of the day when I was last at Disneyland. Had to rush all the way from Star Tours just to do it.

The fireplace in Abe Lincoln's lobby reminds me of the one Thomas Andrews is last see standing in front of in Titanic.

I wonder if it's vintage Beaux Arts or a replica. I'd ask a CM, but ever since one overheard me discussing with a fellow White House Geek all the historical anomalies in the painting of the brooding Lincoln in the White House East Room, I've steered clear (The CM insisted it was historically accurate when, in fact, it places windows and fireplaces where they couldn't have been and uses decor from 10-20 years after Lincoln's death. The artist used his license to very skillfully create an evocative atmosphere).

As long as the lobby keeps the same vibe, I probably wouldn’t even know about the swap. Wait, the marquee. There’s always the marquee.

I was nervous all day waiting for TROR's Top 5. If he had given a crappy non-HOB list, my reputation would have been sullied and I would had no choice but to resign from Wdwmagic.

Mr. Lincoln? Brilliant! Now I could breathe a heavy sigh of relief.

LOL. Constance tbh doesn’t really deserve a spot in the HOB. Look at her non HOB worthy Top 5. Plus she’s a lot more optimistic and cheerier then other members of the HOB
