Splash Mountain refurb

We are planning our trip & have discovered that Splash Mountain will not be in operation for the length of our stay. My question is this: what are the chances that the refurbishment is completed earlier than expected? We leave on the day it is supposed to reopen.

It looks like the Disney World website has been revamped. It's pretty cumbersome trying to navigate when compared to the previous site design. I can't find the operational updates anywhere.

Just looked again. The site seems to be working fine now. Now Splash Mt. refurb says Jan 5-18th maybe yesturday into this morning the site was being updated. Everything looks fine now.
I just used the link off the main wdwmagic.com page. then went to Operational updates. :shrug:
