Most of the lighting appears to not be working.

Terrible show for a signature attraction. Been like this all week.

I was thinking the same thing. The clash of dark outside and the lit inside parts is always rather cool to me. Plus in the summer lights + water, it’s going to look like a peat bog with all the bugs that flock there
make it seem like a real swamp. I think it would be fun. going up the lift hill at the end and as you go over the edge you see darkness until the flash takes your picture

I feel like I’ve been on that Splash Mountain! I was there at night 3 straight evenings at the beginning of April and it wasn’t very well lit then either, but I sort of feel it’s always like that. I have always liked that ride better at night personally

Luckily WDE does decent at bug control, seems to me like they do tend to hang around lighting. I live in FL so it’s swampy enough every night from April to November!

I would love to ride big thunder at night in the dark myself with little lights. I think that would be cool

That makes two of us. I never post in the “happy place” threads, but those darker, occasionally quiet parts of MK at night are probably it. My nephew and I were hitting the top of BTM as the fireworks were going off in April, and it was as zen a moment you could get on a thrill ride
