It's amazing how immaculate Tokyo's looks. I'm surprised how new it looks.

Every ride there looks like it's new. Whether it's actually new, or 8 years old, or 27 years old, or 40 years old.

The Tokyo parks are maintained the way the Walt Disney Company told them to maintain them when Disney was at the height of its game in the 1980's.

Younger people, or those who have simply allowed their personal standards to slip, don't realize that this is the way Disneyland in Anaheim also used to operate itself.

Tokyo management didn't invent this standard they have, Tokyo simply copied it from Anaheim management in 1980.

Well, I mean, I appreciate you guys answer my thread, but, I don't know, I just wanted to be special.

I understand what you're saying. :)

I think what honestly happened here is that no one was trying to insult you or didn't think the thought was nice. It's just we've had those other two long-running Splash Mountain threads going for several years, and it was a topic that was the BIG NEWS! this spring, so we had all mostly said our piece and our goodbye's in those other two threads. I'm sure no one here was trying to make fun, or belittle your kind farewell to this classic ride.

I'm afraid your thread was just caught up in the frenzy and emotion of the overall closing, three long years after it was announced.
