Ok, this has been an inside joke/mystery that has been driving me crazy forever. I figured that all you Disney experts out there could help me.

On the splash mountain ride, the first song "how do you do" or whatever, it sounds like they are saying "pretty good, show us your balls". lol I know its sounds childish but whenever my cousins and I are on the ride we sing along to it that way because we have no earthly idea what they are saying. So what are they saying???

Yeah, try listening to "One Little Spark":

"Electrobeams and crystal prisms, gyroscopes and magnatisms, holy crap in three dimensions"

I mean . . .

(Actually, in the sound effects of the Monsters scene of the original JII, a speaker DID play "Mickey is a Fa**ot" underneath all of the noise. It was discovered and later muted. If you're lucky, your home video may have captured the noise. )

I always thought it sounded like 'Pretty good, show us your balls' as well but knew it couldn't be that.

Thanks for ending the mystery, although i do think the 'show us your balls' version is more fun!

I was the same. I have just got back from WDW, I also thought that Splash sounded like "pretty good, show us your balls". One of the first things I did on return home was a search for the lyrics.

I have been wondering what those words were for years. It's pretty bad when you have a song stuck in your head and you don't even know those little critters are saying. I'm sure we are not the only ones who don't know what they are saying either.

"Pretty good, sure as your born." What's that supposed to mean anyway? And why is it so relevent to the story? And Why couldn't they make it a simpler phrase?

Looks like someone was having fun with the lyrics again. Trying to fool us into showing our balls.

That song is actually titled, "How Do You Do?", which is taken straight from the movie Song of the South, which is what Splash Mountain is based on. The "Pretty good, sure as you're born" is basically a typical old-time response when someone asks "How do you do?"

Understood the part about the movie. But the old saying? What does "Pretty good, sure as you're born" mean exactly? Call me stupid, but I just dont get it.

Pretty good.
That is self explanatory.
sure as your born
I'm sure I'm pretty good, as sure as I am that you are (were) born.

How do you do?

How do you do? Mighty pretty greeting,
How do you do? Say it when yer meeting,
How do you do? With everyone repeating,
Pretty good sure as yer born.
What goes up is sure to come down,
a penny lost is a penny found
I'll howdy you, you howdy back,
this for that and tit for tat.
How do you do?
Fine how are u?
How ya comon?
pretty good sure as yer born
stop jumpin brer rabbit, youll run outta breath,
now sit down an calm yerself?
the grasshopper jumps, so do da fleas,
i do what i like, and iiiii suits me.
How do ya do?
fine how are u?
how ya come on?
pretty good sure as yer born
