Splash Mountain innuendo

Since I started the post about the lyrics, i have to ask about this.

Is it just me or is splash mountain filled with sexual innuendo. I mean B.Bear is always in some sort of weird position. Everythin you see him. Just think about it. Also I am pretty sure there is or used to be a lamp that looks like a bong at the end of the ride. Anybody else notice these things?

Disney is pretty crazy sometimes :hammer:

LMAO a Bong shaped Lamp!? Never saw that unfortunately... shucks! :lol:

Also... at first I thought they were saying "Pretty good.... show us your bone!" There is a thread on that buried somewhere around here. :lol: :lookaroun

I still find myself singing those lyrics along with the ride, much to the dismay of the families in the log with me. :lookaroun

:lol: First time I ever rode Splash .. I was like "Wassat he is saying now?" :veryconfu and then I listened... and listened... and when I came to my conclusion.... I tried not to bust out laughing... :lol: But when I got off the ride... my friend and I were rolling and doubled over with laughter. :lol: :p :lookaroun

I have to admit I sing the Bone / Balls lines everytime I ride...my girlfriend just smiles at me and pretends that I'm funny. She used to be so much more convincing 7 years ago.

They are saying pretty good sure as your born, but it does sound like pretty good show us your bone.

A buddy and I agree with your inuendo statement. It seems like Brer Bear's @$$ is always sticking out at you.

As for the bong shaped lamp, I remember seeing it towards the end, but the last time I was on Splash it looked like they replaced it with a more traditional-looking lamp. I was pretty disappointed when I saw this.

I have a pretty bad history mis-hearing lyrics, but I've only ever heard "Pretty good, sure as you're born" as well.

I agree on the @ss thing to... that Bear is sticking his but out everywhere in that ride :lol:

Anyone have any pictures of the fabled "Bong Lamp" :confused: You have all peaked my intrest :lol:

As I said in an earlier post, that whole scene at the end with Brer Bear's head in the tree, and Brer Fox standing on his back while the gator bites his tail always cracks me up.

Reagrdless, I pray they never change Splash Mountain. It's my favorite ride in Disney World.

Speaking of innuendo on Splash, ride it again and on Pre-b (Right before the big drop) on the right there is a Stalagmite that all to clearly resembles a giant . I'll see if I can find a picture for you.

You aren't the only one. My brother and I laugh at that lamp every time we ride Splash Mountain. It was gone my last trip for a few days, and I was dissapointed, but it mysteriously re-appeared on the last day of the trip. I can't remember totally, but I think they might have moved it to a slightly different part of the ride. I'll be looking for it in a couple of weeks though :D

I also want to see the validity of the giant stalactite claim :lol:

Well my friends and I laugh at the ride when the fox is on the bears back as hes going in and out of the cave....that is his head keeps moving back in and out...do you kno what I'm talking about? THats what we laugh at!

I have always though it sounded just like "pretty good, sure as your born"- it's just in a southern accent so it sounds different. -Stephanie
