Um, Finding Nemo doesn't tie into the theme of Frontierland. I'd say keep the Song of The South theme.

Well, this is something that would be very easy for any juvenile imaginer to write into the background story. During the American frontier time a parallel universe (alternative reality) certainly existed on the Great Barrier Reef. It might be helpful to dress up Nemo, Marlin and Coral in cowboy hats to help little children understand the time frame. Of course, the barracuda would wear a black hat.

It would be helpful if you would think more outside the box and be helpful in working on this idea. I’m not saying this is the best treatment. I just came up with this idea off the top of my head. At least it’s something we can start with and improve upon.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot the spurs. Picture Nemo ridng a seahorse and digging those spurs in to gain some speed. It fits right into Frontierland. Work with me people.

While this Pixar movie may not work (or even happen) the fact that they are even considering a live action movie in this era depicting the west makes it possible.

I believe the unmade film you are referencing was Brad Bird's pet project about the huge earthquake in San Francisco that happened that year. Well, it started as an earthquake, then the city kind of burnt down.

Little bit better information: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0832278/

Not exactly what people think of when it comes to "Westerns" and really doesn't fit a flume...

I know it disrupts the architectural pattern they developed for the land (which was brilliant), but the ride (and its theme) is now a staple of the Magic Kingdom, just as essential to people's vacation/memories as Pirates, Haunted Mansion or Jungle Cruise.
