Pulled a few favors, and was able to obtain a copy of the original script for Splash Mountain.

BABY BUNNY WITH BROOM (FA-6) Look, yonder. There goes Brer Rabbit. BABY BUNNY WITH RAKE (FA-7) Being chased by Brer Fox and Brer Bear - as usual.

Segment #2: BABY BUNNY WITH BROOM (FA-6) Why, look! It's Brer Rabbit. BABY BUNNY WITH RAKE (FA-7) And Brer Fox and Brer Bear are hot on his heels.

Segment #3: BABY BUNNY WITH BROOM (FA-6) Yonder comes Brer Rabbit. BABY BUNNY WITH RAKE (FA-7) Then Brer Fox and Brer Bear can't be too far behind.

Almost exactly what we thought, but nice to be certain!

Maybe somebody at Disney is trying to make it easier for us to get clean recordings of the audio forget how it used to be so that when it changes to the Tiana ride we won't care as much...?

Now that I think about it there's a few lines aside from the bunnies on Splash that get skipped over. I don't know if it's the timing of logs but the ones I see alot less are:
Rope Trap/Jumping Br'er Rabbit:
"Duh...haha! E'rybody's got a..."
"Whatchu doin up there in mah Rabbit trap Br'er Bear? You're making a fool of yourself is what you's doing!"
"I is?"

"You boys can catch me! Why my Laughin Place is where I'm bound!"
"Br'er Fox! No need to get caught up over Br'er Bear! You need a good dose of my Laughin' Place!"

Dip Drop
"Uhh,'Dis aint no Laughin' Place...there's just BEES in here!"
"Br'er Bear you done been stickin your nose in the wrong Laughin Place this time for sure!"

Pre-Drop
"I gotcha Br'er Rabbit! Guess I sure outsmarted you!"
"Now Br'er Rabbit I'm inviting you ova' for dinner! Haha MY dinner!"
"I sure caught you this time for sure Br'er Rabbit! I say it's the end o' the line for you!"

KEEP IN MIND THAT NOT EVERYTHING IN THIS DOCUMENT WAS USED - I found a ton of vulture dialogue that isn't in the ride, and even some of the lyrics changed. That being said...

BRER RABBIT (FA-30) (laughing) You boys can't catch me - why, my laughing place is where I'm bound.

Segment #2: BRER RABBIT (FA-30) (laughing) Hey, Brer Fox! Why'nt you cut ol' Brer Bear down an' follow me to my laughing place.

The Brer Rabbit in the Laughin' Place doesn't say it (I think the implication is that he doesn't know Brer Fox is sneaking up behind him).

Fun fact, this actually made it into the ride! You can hear it as you go down the Laughin' Place drop. It's often covered by the riders screaming though.
