Actually, we fly spirit just about every time we fly down to Disney for the Easter rush. I can honestly say that we have NEVER had a problem. We flew Northwest this past time, and I think Spirit was better service actually, and the plane wasn't as cramped. I give spirit the thumbs up.

Hi, we have made a number of flights from Detroit to Orlando on Spirit (at least 5) and never had any major problems. One time we had a long wait for our luggage ( 1 hour) when at Orlando, but that was a few years ago. No problems since. Infact we have had more problems with Southwest (not non stop) and Northwest (non stop service, but not very good services).
We perfere Spirit, and are gald they have so many non stop flights from Detroit to Orlando. More often then not they have the best prices. Infact my husband just called because our flight we already booked for Aug is now under 100 each way, he got vochers for difference between flight for our next trip.

No problems with Spirit the two times I flew with them. The only complaint would be with the passengers behind me on one flight. They kept moving around and this brat kept kicking my seat every 20 minutes or so. Otherwise the flights were fine.

It looks like those of us who sing Spirits praises, are all from the Metro Detroit area. But Spirit has better service than some of the major carriers. Its a smart idea, and a thrifty one.

We live in NJ about 45 mins away from AC airport and we always fly Spirit to Orlando and other areas in Florida.
We love Spirit Airlines and we havent had a problem at all with them ever. They were so wonderful to us last year when we flew down to Orlando.
There were 4 of us traveling and I was worried because I had my wedding dress and my maid of honor had her dress plus eachof us had a carry-on. I thought that they wouldnt let us take on the dresses. The woman at the counter was wonderful and we lucked out because the flight wasnt full. So they didnt have a problem with us putting our dresses on the empty seat so that nothing would happen to them.
I would always fly Spirit Airlines anytime.

Spirit Airlines is the best value for your flying $$$. Let's face it, in todays world, there really are no frills. Spirit offers the best non stop schedule from Chgo, Ohara to Orlando. I have used them for the past 4 years, and will continue to do so, as long as they keep their fares at a resonable price. Because, that is what it comes down to after all. Keep up the good work Spirit!!

We fly Spirit out of Atlantic city a lot (my parents do it a few times a year), and it's very convenient and affordable.

Just got back flying Sprit yet again with no problems. (as a funny small world side note the women at check-in at Orlando was the mother of a child I taught pre-school 8 years ago, when she lived in Detroit!)
Sprit now has that you can pre-arange your seats on line a month before the flight. That was really nice.

Spirit has become our family's one and only choice for flights to MCO. From check in to gate, to flight, there certainly isn't anything fancy as mentioned above, but the service has been polite and efficient and we've never had a problem.
As for good flight availability, cost and service, we have yet to find any better!
