LOL...You truely will not believe what happened to me today at The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman attraction at Universal's Islands of Adventure....

Its not abnormal for Spidey to go down every once in awhile...but I went on it today and it broke Down THREE times in a Row!!!! Every time I went back around the Baby Swap to get back on....THAT scoop would break down again!!! Three times the ride had failures today and the lights were turned on in the show building.

The Cool part....

The third time....it was actually OUR vehicle that messed up....so Maintenance came and ran a test mode which spun our vehicle around 360 degrees....then up went a garage door..and in we went into the MAINTENANCE Bay!! LOL....I have never experienced a more bizarre situation...here is the Daily Bugle Scoop headed into the garage....There were like five scoops just all apart being fixed...Anyway the took us off the vehicle and we all recieved front of the line access the rest of the night...so it was cool...

Very interesting to see though...

I experienced the same thing! Except that only the audio was out and I never got a look at the maintenance bay. :animwink:

When I was on it last December, we rode it three times in a row, and it would always get stuck while our SCOOP was in the final battle.

The first two times, it shut down for 10 seconds, started back upi again. Whatever, I was able to deal with it, but my dad had never been on before, and he wanted to go through without any screw ups. We went on a third time, and we were up to the part where Hydro gets destroyed...blackout. Everything, done. SCOOP stopped entirely, screens gone, lighting effects gone. We were sitting in there for about 15 minutes, just saying "Helooooo??" and stuff like that, lol. They got it back up, and when we got off, they gave us vouchers for a free large soda, front of the line access to Spidey for 2 rides, and a ticket for 1/2 off any meal you get...we spent that at Mythos. But, when we went on our 4th time, it ran perfectly, and we all cheered, lol.

NOW THAT is how THEY SHOULD BE...you wait and wait like that...they SHOULD give you something...that's GREAT BUSINESS!
It makes you really feel like you're a "guest"

BRAVO UNIVERSAL!

Too bad you wait HOURS and HOURS in the Test Track line and have it break down...and you're LUCKY to get another ride.
