Spider-man's Amazing WDW Adventure: Part Three

I have broken this down into three parts. Days one through three, Days Four through six, and days seven through nine. Pictures are coming to all three segments soon.

First a quick background of who was on this trip:

Jamie (Me): a multi-WDW trip veteran who is always learning more each trip.

Wendy (my wife): a second time WDW lover who has learned much from me.

Nicholas (my son): a 17 month old with pure innocent eyes.

Robby (my nephew): a 15 year old WDW first timer who does not ride thrill rides.

Days seven through nine will cover EPCOT, Animal Kingdom/Magic Kingdom (nighttime), and Downtown Disney Marketplace.

Day Seven: EPCOT

Oh boy, how do you do all of EPCOT in a day? You don't. We had little choice though, so we cut the fat here... no Living Seas (already did SeaWorld), no Body (getting old), no Innoventions, just Living with the Land at the Land, and we had to be careful at the Countries.

We were going to get a wall picture made, but it appears only one or two people are on each tile and they are ugly, so we skipped it. I went into the park for Test Track Fast Pass and returned for a ride on Spaceship Earth.

The new AT&T area after Spaceship Earth was not there last time, but still dull. We went onto Universe of Energy. Amusing with the guest stars, but still a tad outdated.

We then went to Test Track, there is nothing better than Child Swap Combined with FastPass, especially for whoever gets to ride twice. :animwink: Unfortunately that wasn't me. Let's see, glitches on my ride. No acceleration on the hill climb and the truck dodge did not function. We literally stopped and then slowly crept around the truck finally speeding up at the end. I'm not sure if the car crashes in front of you anymore or not, but it was already smashed when we got there. Apparently all these worked when my wife rode but I don't know if other things messed up on her ride, she is not that familiar.

Next was Honey I Shrunk the Audience, and JII w/Figment. No lines on either, but at least HIStA had a full house. At times JII had no one in line. This was our first trip on ver 3. I was not very pleased. If this had been ver 2 I would have been more happy, but I think the whole Imagination Institute needs to be scrapped and a new 3D and Ride concept be introduced soon. It was bearable now, but not repeatable or rememorable.

We then went to the Land and got FastPass for Living with the Land (another favorite of mine) and ate at the Food Court. We rode and then headed to Canada to view O' Canada for the first time ever. It was nice.

The Food and Wine Festival was going on and every one in the park seemed to be here sampling all the countries. This is such an awesome concept to have many places represented. I tried Duck and Cucumbers from Russia and Sausage and Potato Cakes from Poland. We hit all the countries only skipping Norway to meet our PS at Mexico. We ate then rode El Rio del Tempo, grabbed FastPass for Norway, and got a spot for the Tapestry of Dreams at the Entrance near Germany.

The Parade is nearly as good as the former version, the Dream People are interesting, but cause the Clock Drums to make less sense, still it's a very good parade.

We then got on Norway and I forgot the drop on the ride, this was the most thrilling ride my 17 month old got to ride because of that. :D Everything was in great shape since the rehab. We finally got a spot for Illuminations. When my wife and I went in 99 the earth did not work. This time we had the best night time show of our life, it is amazing, we all loved it. We had all stayed out very late, so we went straight to bed after, knowing that PS at Animal Kingdom was comin the next morning. :)

I think this is one of my second best Spaceship Earth Shots to date, maybe it's just me though, but I really like it...
