spending money!?!

hey all!
traveling to disney on 9th sept for 2 weeks with my fiance and his younger sister (13) just been sorting spending money out and have worked out we will have about £1000 to change to dollars (some already been changed) we are on dinning plan! and his sister will be bringing her own spends! doya think this is enough to still have a good time with?!?

I don't know what the conversion rate is from £'s to $'s, but it sounds like a good chunk of change. With meals & hotel paid for, you should be fine!

Spending money

I went to disney last september with my boyfriend. We took 700 pounds each with us. Each day we divided up the money. So we had about 2500 dollars, which worked out $180 per day. Each day we took out the $180, if we came back with some (which we almost always did) we added it to the total and divided it up again.

We ate out for at least two meals a day, plus snacks and loads of juice.

We bought whatever we wanted.

On our third last day we counted up all the money and had just under half left, so about 700 pounds. We went to the outlets and spent what we could. We still had loads left.

In the end we came back to the uk with 150 each.

So i would say if you are on the dining plan you'll have loads to spend! Our biggest expense was our food.

Personally, I take $100.00 a day per person to the park. Daily, I almost always seem to come back with some left over.

I think we overestimated how much spending money we should take with us. Our family of five brought 5k with us and used it on food, cabfare for when we went to Universal, plenty of Souveneirs for my family and even my coworkers and we still came back with 2k.
