Spell Formuns' Checker

There is not a built in spell checker. Best bet is to use something like Safari, Firefox, or Chrome which has a native spell checker. That way you get spell check in everything you do on the web.

What happened to the formuns' spell checker? I really need one.

You get one free pass, but then there's a fee for each manual spell-checking:

"What happened to the forum's spell checker?"

If you are using IE there are several add on spell checkers that work well. I am using Speckie and it seems to work fairly well.

You wouldn't have to patch your browser if you used one that didn't suck ;)

Right now I do not have a choice. For some odd reason Chrome is crashing my new PC and I have not been able to lock down why. All the drivers are up to date and I have either turned off or on every setting imaginable, yet I still seem to have an issue. The issue sounds similar to a problem the latest MacBooks had with chrome where the screen would just go black. I uninstalled Chrome last night and will just deal with IE9 for the next few weeks and then re-install Chrome hoping that they have fixed the issue.

I enjoy the multiple guess aspect of Firefox. It lets you know you've misspelled a word, but doesn't give you the correct spelling, so you have to keep trying until you figure out the correct spelling. ;)

Ouch!

I don't know what I'd do without Chrome. Such a nice browser.

Actually, if you right click the misspelled word it will give you options!

At least mine does.

But it also think a lot of words we use here are misspelled. (Tomorrowland, Adventureland)
