Spell Formuns' Checker

What happened to the formuns' spell checker? I really need one.

There is not a built in spell checker. Best bet is to use something like Safari, Firefox, or Chrome which has a native spell checker. That way you get spell check in everything you do on the web.

If you are using IE there are several add on spell checkers that work well. I am using Speckie and it seems to work fairly well.

You get one free pass, but then there's a fee for each manual spell-checking:

"What happened to the forum's spell checker?"

Right now I do not have a choice. For some odd reason Chrome is crashing my new PC and I have not been able to lock down why. All the drivers are up to date and I have either turned off or on every setting imaginable, yet I still seem to have an issue. The issue sounds similar to a problem the latest MacBooks had with chrome where the screen would just go black. I uninstalled Chrome last night and will just deal with IE9 for the next few weeks and then re-install Chrome hoping that they have fixed the issue.

I enjoy the multiple guess aspect of Firefox. It lets you know you've misspelled a word, but doesn't give you the correct spelling, so you have to keep trying until you figure out the correct spelling.

That is my nightmare right now. I have been using Chrome since it was first released. IE9 is a vast improvement over IE7, but it is not Chrome.

Actually, if you right click the misspelled word it will give you options!

At least mine does.

But it also think a lot of words we use here are misspelled. (Tomorrowland, Adventureland)

I just plane stink at spelling but I can normaly get across what I am trying to type.
