Speedway at Magic Kingdom

So obviously kids just love it but I think it's a little outdated.
The tracks that keep you from hitting other drivers are annoying and the cars are too slow.

Would you like to see it gone or refurbished?

I'd like to see it themed like Cars, instead of tracks, build guardrails between each lane, make the track longer, make it go over or below itself and make it go faster. Put some video screens with Lightning McQueen or Mater telling you what to do and call it a day.

I'd honestly they rather just start from scratch with a new attraction in the area. Add something that actually fits with a Tommorowland theme or make it part of FL since it is kind of on the border.

Believe it or not this ride actually broke down while a friend of mine was there. I think it's a bit outdated honestly. There should something new and awesome here

Add a new Tomorrowland attraction. Racing doesn't feel futuristic to me, for many apparent reasons. And make the ride original. Not every attraction has to be tied into a movie.

It is in bad need of a make over. Maybe they could upgrade to electric cars? That's kind of futuristic.

It needs to be torn down. It reeks 70's. I love 70's WDW but since Tomorrowland has been bastagized, what's the point of keeping this attraction?

I'd like them to tear down the speedway. It takes up a whole lot of unnecessary space, and you could actually fit 2 or 3 attractions in there. I would love to see a "transition" area between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland where the speedway is today.

It's nostagic at best but it's something that one can do at almost any amusement park in the country. My kids love it and the lines are always 10-20 mins when I have been there but I think the time has come for a change.

Get rid of it. there are plenty of go-kart tracks around the country now, and they are way faster than the Speedway. JMHO

Disney should remake Speed Racer and then redo the ride with loops and corkscrews!

The problem is that it's a crowd eater and enough people still love it. Hard to justify a huge investment to replace it. I'm sure it'll eventually be changed but probably as part of a mass TL overhaul.

Hybrids? Make the "speedway" the L.I.E. in NY or 405 in CA and justify the bumper to bumper or 5 mph traffic jam.
