SpectroMagic Question

Ever since I was a little kid I have been scared of those clown things in SpectroMagic. Now, I'm not scared of clowns in general, just them. I think the fear has just stayed with me as I grew up, which is kind of embarrassing.

So, my question is am I the only one?

Because I think they're creepy looking.

Well ever see A Christmas Story, during the parade the clown thing that walks to the camera scares the living crap out of me and i am 32.

Their goofy attitudes and what i thought to be their "laughs" during the show was the only thing that kept me from considering them toooo creepy.



Along with the fact that they were up there, on the float, to be enjoyed in the parade and not down here, next to me sitting on the curb to freak me out.

I don't like snow men.

I find them eerie and sinister.
I'm not really scared of them; I just don't understand them.
Like, why does a snow man wear a scarf?
Where do they live when it's not winter?
What does a snow man eat?
They just seem to suddenly appear and then they just stand there and smile at you.
Are they organized with gangs and groups? Do all snow men know each other?

I don't even like the 'Frosty The Snowman' song when it comes on the radio.

Next time you see snow men in a WDW parade, notice how sinister they are and how they look right at you like they're planning something. December guests: Be careful!

The Spectro Men used to freak me out as well, and I actually really hated them and the entire parade because the MSEP was gone and replaced with this, in my childhood opinion, sub-par parade (the change out happened when I was pretty young, so I was destined to be a Disney geek). I do like the parade now and I'm no longer freaked out by the Spectro Men. I don't love them, but I can deal with them. I'd love to see the MSEP return, though.

Although I have to agree they are a little creepy, I think I like them. Maybe BECAUSE they are so creepy. They should make them characters in a cartoon or something and explain just what the heck they are... or do. Of course, to some people it might be kind of a horror film LOL!
