I went to the event last year, and am going this year (I got Ezra). I really, really enjoyed it. We had to check in at the TTC, then go over to MK to Get our Merchandise. We were staying at the Contemp. (even though I live right down the street), so we went and put our stuff in the room. We were allowed access into the MK w/out a ticket at 5, and the event started at 8. The park closed at 7 btw. So we got to ride some rides, and then at 7 we were told to report to Liberty Square. We had an hour to wait, and then we were allowed to go into the HOP for the Imagineering presentation. It gave me a whole new respect for the ride and the people who made it. That went til about 9. Then the real fun started. All of Frontierland was blacked out, with fog, and the HM music playing all through Frontierland and Liberty Square. There were Fortune tellers, and street preformers. Every 20 minutes or so, the Headless Horseman would come out from behind the HOP, and go all through Frontierland on a horsedrawn carraige. They had Splash, Thunder, And HM, open all night, and there was NO wait at all... Infact, they let you stay on as many times as you wanted. They set up a buffet in 4 spots, but all I had was some Macoroni, cause I was too excited to get to do things. The Haunted Mansion had never looked better (see some pics in Popkids photo album). This was alot of fun, and if you guys are in town, absolutely go. It was a blast.

Wow! That sounds awsome!

You need to get some pics of this year!

I have a question- is it scary, or fun?

Its like the Haunted Mansion itself, both fun and scary. The scariest part of the evening was my cousin and I were walking to Splash, and there was fog, and it was so quiet, not another soul around. And we stopped for a minute, and then we were like "Holy crap", and we ran to Splash:)

Argh!!! I leave 2 days before this. Ponders on how I can make my hubby stay a couple days longer. Hmmmm....

Then again, if all goes well, maybe he'll have a job there by then and we will live there instead of being just visiting.
