Speaking of check-out times, what about check-in?

A warning--you can't pick up your bags at 2 am. Bell services closes at (I believe) 11 pm, so you'll need to get your bags before then or be stuck without them until morning!

Hmm... so, if the room isn't ready when we get there, we might be better off leaving our stuff in the car until we get back in for the evening? I'm okay with that as long as the lot is fairly secure... surely people don't have too many issues with break ins over there?

I just don't want to be stuck losing valuable park time... or do you guys think we might end up wanting to go back to the room anyway at some point between arrival and closing if we get there after lunch?

Update: I just called the Pop myself to confirm this, and the woman at the front desk says this is not true. She said they will not deliver luggage to your room for you after 11 pm, but that they do have someone there who can get your stuff out of lockup 24 hours a day. She even confirmed with Bell Services. I may call back another day and see if I get the same answer twice, just to be sure I wasn't talking to someone who was new or something... if I do that I'll be sure to update as well so others will know.

Yeah there will always be someone (usually 1 bellman) working grave yard so do not worry. As for checking in, best way to do it is do Online check in and put your estimated time and that you would like room ready on arrival. Of course its all requests but it usually helps things when the resort is looking for who to get the rooms that are ready now.

Interesting. Must be a policy change as I ran into this issue in the past. That was 2011, though. Change is always possible. And in this case, welcome.

Yeah you sounded pretty sure, so I figured it was something along those lines... that's why I think I'll call back in a day or two and see if someone else says the same thing. If I get around to it, I'll post that too... but this girl was perplexed when I told her what you had said, and she said "I don't think Bell Services does ever close. Let me double check" and then when she came back she said she had confirmed that they do not close but that they only deliver luggage before 11.

Maybe they learned the hard way that people don't want to be forced to come back to the hotel just because they don't have a room ready at the right time, if it means leaving the park to do it.

We have always arrived before 3:00pm (usually closer to 11:00am), and our rooms have always been ready for us at check-in.

If yours is not, just leave your bags with bell services and come back for them when your room is ready. We typically don't leave until a few hours after official check-out time, so we leave our bags with Bell Services on departure day. They're lovely to work with (at all of the resorts), and nothing has ever been misplaced or gone missing.
