I really hope SSE can get a more fitting sponsor than Siemens is. Perhaps another phone company. It's more fitting than ever now considering the smart phone revolution that has occurred since the last update. I mean, the current version's script was most likely written well before anybody knew about the iPhone. In hindsight, it's very awkward that such a huge communication breakthrough happened within a year of the current version's opening.

Thanks to Siemens, the wand is gone, AAs were upgraded, and special effects operate 99% of the time. Blame WDI for a weak script and descent, not Siemens.

I'm sure we'll see a major refurbishment in the next 5-6 years. Epcot, until recently, has the funds to do so. Yes, other things need the attention far more, but the loss of sponsorship is getting closer. Also in response to the Apple discussion, they allegedly approached the company to sponsor a pavilion (I forget which) and they turned it down.
