anyone notice the track noise on spaceship earth lately. Last time I went on it the ride seemed very loud with allot of track noise from the gears etc. Anyone else notice that???

The noise in SSE has been well known for a loooong time. It is most likley the most annoying aspect of the ride. I have a recording of the "mechanical" sounds you hear....seems to me like Disney needs to add a tad bit of WD-40 to the ol' omnimover.

I noticed that as well on my last trip....I could not make out any of the ride audio whatsoever. I think its needs to be well lubed...and an Audio upgrade would rock! I sugessted in another thread that JBL or Infinity should upgrade the audio systems..(and that would make them a small sponsor)...and well...you know At&t...god forbid if they spend any money , on anthing.....Though I dont know if At&t or Dinsey would have to pay for the upgrade....Anybody Know?

I dont think supplying audio gear will warrant a sponsorship mention. Although I know Disney currently do use JBL Pro, Cerwin Vega, Martin Audio, EV Audio, and Altec Lansing.

I haven't noticed the noice particularly, but I did notice on how often it had to stop for some reason![]()

As Spaceship Earth is a continuously moving ride system (omnimover), the ride has to be stopped to allow disabled access etc hence the occasional stops during your trips.![]()

Perhaps it needs a little WDW-40!!!
