Space Mountain to once again become Hyperspace Mountain

Hopefully short lived. Last time it was supposed to be there for "seasons of the force" but was up for almost 2 years.

It's an impressive overlay but man did it overstay it's welcome.
The Tie Fighter near-miss and the lasers surprised me the first time I rode the Hyperspace overlay, and they're still really effective effects. If Season of the Force and the overlay ended when it should have, I think Hyperspace would be a much more beloved overlay.

So there’ll be as many Star Wars rides in Tomorrowland as there are in Galaxy’s Edge, nice!

Might as well employee some Tuskan Raider cast members and station them in Frontier Land. That's the equivalent of putting star wars in *Tomorrowland.

*Speaking of which.. Doesn't Star Wars take place a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away?

Complain how lame Tomorrowland is = check
Complain when anything changes in lame Tomorrowland= also check
An overlay that was already there a few years ago isn't the big change people want for tommorowland.

They could bring back Captain EO though instead of doing their movie previews or having an empty theater like now. At least that is a net gain.

I would be elated if they just brought back Tomorrowland 67 + Space Mountain. They can literally call it Tomorrowland 67. Lean into that nostalgia Disney.

They kind of started to do that with the new entrance that was announced 2 years ago then nothing happened. Everything they were doing was a direct callback to the '67 entrance.

Modern Disney is in this weird spot where they'll do random stuff to bring back or reference the Disneyland of old (bringing back the Pirates cave narration, April-December Portrait, the new Tomorrowland Entrance, MSEP), while simultaneously doing everything they can to make the experience unrecognizable.

Yeah exactly. Which is why I have a problem with that concept art. It tells me that they re ok Just putting lipstick on a pig. I want the Rocket Jets, Peoplemover etc. Basically TL 67 + Space Mountain.

Star Wars has never really been defined as being within our earth timeline. Its just a long time ago in some distant galaxy, meaning in THEIR timeline.

Some have tried to place it within our earth timeline, but that is not canon. So really it could be within our future earth timeline or in the past, but that is beside the point. Either way its got space ships and laser weapons, which makes it more futuristic than any tech currently available in our earth timeline making it fit in Tomorrowland.

I'd give my left kidney for a contemporary take on ATIS. Shuttle Star Tours over to Galaxy's Edge where the Starcruiser in Florida docks and reclaim the space for ATIS.

Updated Epcot Future World attractions is what Tomorrowland needs. They need an updated Horizons 2.0 in the old Innoventions building. They need the subs as a preshow transportation to Sea Base 55 complete with underwater roller coaster with live fish. The star tours building becomes an omnimover ride about micro-technology via an electron microscope. Autopia goes completely electric with hover cars and glowing Tron-looking roads. Buzz becomes a ride on climate on different alien planets. This is just a little bit about how I would save Tomorrowland. Somewhere around here is the full list.

I've never thought of using the Subs the way The Living Seas used to with Seabase Alpha! I would love that. Drop-off could be somewhere in the midst of that show-building where the screens are now, and the show-building could be built underneath whatever they decide to do with Autopia. Story-wise, it could be like we're disembarking in an underwater cave system into a retro-futuristic research center.
