Space Mountain "Starry-O-Phonic" Sound

I love the ride. My wife does not. I have never noticed a difference in the sound quality/volume of the ride.

When there in Thanksgiving, it worked amazing for the 12 rides we had over 2 weeks. It was overall an amazing transformation of the ride. Eliminating the stars and glow walls on the vehicles while adding the audio an projection effects was a perfect transition. It paid off on both the ride itself and the Peoplemover.

People screaming has been toned down with all the new interaction. The ride is MUCH darker. I hated the old ride, and the new ride has become a great overall experience.

Sorry if some are underwhelmed, but the DL speakers blasting in your ears are way cheezy and take away from the ride. This enhances the experience. DaDumDaDum= Silly. I will say Ghost Galaxy is REALLY FREAKING COOL though. The music is much more appropriate and the "look this way" while you "turn this way" messed me up pretty bad my first trip.

I give the rehab a MAJOR thumbs up. And as you say Lee, without beig able to replace vehicles or the track, I cannot imagine a much better job being done.

I agree. We rode it several times during our last visit, and it always worked quite well. I think that they did a really good job overall with the refurb, considering the realities of the budget with which they had to work. Overall, much darker, cool audio, and a significantly better experience than I found it was before the refurb.
