Space Mountain question??

Hello everyone i just got back from wdw last night and while i was there i overheard cast members talking about putting a single rider line like the one a the test track in space mountain. The funny thing was that i was talking to my sister in line and said that they should put a single rider line in it b/c there is usually one empty seat for some reason. well if anyoe has more info please post!!!

I haven't heard anything about a single rider line, but there have been rumors (however false or true they are) about a complete rehab and maybe a new track design. Usually they call for single riders from the first couple rows, and it seems to work pretty well while I am in line.

Disney has been adding single-rider lines all over Disneyland over the past few months, so I could easily see it spreading here. I could see Splash Mountain getting one soon...seeing as it has the "mystery entrance" left of the gift shop. As for Space Mountain...that'd be tough to fit in...but there have to be secret entrances somewhere that would work...

I stood in a "single rider" line for about 5 minutes in April, when the stand-by line wait was 90 minutes! It was great! Hopefully, the idea will prove efficient enough to be used on other attractions.

It seems logical. I think that the rockets are in arrangments to seat 6, same as Test Track. It could work. Disney would be smart to do that.

I have heard some talk about putting in single rider lines for various rides at wdw. I heard it from another site under the links section. It talked about putting single rider lines in things like Dinosaur, Splash Mountain, and Rock 'N RollerCoaster. Many more might be included. I hope they do though, because it would be great to see things like that at wdw!

Is it just me or does RockNRollercoaster have the SMALLEST QUEUE area...not meaning length...but it seems like you're always squished in line because they bunch everyone up.

u know what i find funny about this whole thing is if they need one more rider they call for one.I think it would be more efficient to put in a line for the soul purpose of filling in seats.

I think it makes perfect sense to put a single rider's line. Anything that makes the wait shorter is a great idea. I'm surprised they haven't done it already with the bigger attractions in MK.

i have not heard anything about a single rider line but i do think it will be quite a cool idea. I know what you mean about there always being one seat spare wierd isn't it! i love that ride i can't wait till i go on florida so i can ride it!
