Yes, let's defend Nazi's, they were people too.

I never said that I was defending Nazi's. Believe me, that's the last thing I would be doing.

Being that I'm Jewish, I personally take offense to the fact that he brought Nazi's up for no reason at all. I am also extremely annoyed at the other post he made about the Gay Days as well.

welcome to the internet. the last relm of non free speach.

But respect should not have to be asked for anywhere!
If you make a comment like that, you should expect someone to be offended and in my opinion, it was not called for.

If there were a suspicious package, they would probably evacuate Tommorowland.

It's scary when that happens. Last year, My friends and I were evacuated very quickly from one of the lands at Alton Towers, here in England. Hundreds of workers plowed into the KFC we were at and hauled us out onto the grass. Bear in mind this happened shortly after the London bombings, anything was possible for the most popular theme park in England.

^ I would have been scared out of my pants! Why do people just leave their packages and stuff outside of buildings? Even if it was a bomg, why do people in this world have to be so mean?

A suspicious package doesn't get enough interest from WDW security to warrant a building evacuation... trust me on this one...

BRICH: That is sad. I went to a movie last week and we were evacuated - employees were yelling at us to come back tomorrow for a refund. Apparently some dumb teenager changed her clothes in the bathroom (mom and dad must not have approved of what she was originally planning to wear) and then left her backpack unattended in the bathroom.

WORLD_SHOWCASE - thanks for the info, but try not to use "G.D." on these boards. That is truly an offense word AND since it's summer here, kids could be reading...........

EDIT: now I see his account has been suspended

Because sometimes you just forget it, plain and simple, not that you intend harm, but that is the society we live in today that we think everything is done to harm us. Haven't you ever left something somewhere and then all of a sudden realize it. While you do try to be aware that you have everything with you, accidents do happen and you might leave a bag on a bench.

I imagine that Disney has a lot of items left all over the parks all the time, accidentally. They would have to decide which packages are potentially dangerous, I am sure. Otherwise, they would always be evacuating lots of rides.

The last time I was at Disney, there were a number of times when someone in my group would leave something behind on a ride (like a purse or backpack, a book once), because they simply forgot to pick it up when they were leaving. The CMs would always just put the item away in a spot at the attraction and wait for them to return (they always realized it within 5-10 minutes). The CMs never really said much, except for a CM at DisneyQuest which joked with the person for awhile (he was working the Jungle Cruise ride, then we went over to Pirates. While we were in line, it was time for the CMs to rotate, and he rotated over there).

If you want to watch a really good movie about WWII that shows that both American and Nazi's are just regular people behind a different uniform, watch Saints and Soldiers. It doesn't defend Nazi's but shows that their just like everyone else. My brother did the storyboard for it. Maybe it just came out around Utah where the directors are from. It's based on true stories about a small band of American Soldiers behind enemy lines. One of them is a mormon. It's an awesome movie, I'd recommend for anyone to see.

That's wierd. I was there that night, but see anything going on. I think at that time of the night we were probably on Main Street.

Snakes on a ride? Thats almost as bad as snakes in a hospital, or even a plane. But thats insane, snakes could never be on a plane, let alone space mountain...:lookaroun

in certain countries like australia snakes come into hospitals.

i have read stories about snakes being on planes or you might be referring to the movie snakes on a plane with samuel l. jackson.:)

people have said in other threads that snakes are found by the generator rooms in WDW.
