That was the case for all five days I was there in late July. I'm assuming there must be more to it than that, because it seems like they stopped caring about the lights about a decade ago.Someone posted a POV to YouTube the other day in which, hilariously, none of the lights in the blue tunnel were functional/turned on. It’s possible a refurb is warranted.

I can't really give them the benefit of the doubt on this one. I mean, it's lights. If the often maintenance-allergic WDW doesn't seem to have trouble maintaining two very similar light tunnels on their Space Mountain, I can't imagine Disneyland has any real excuse other than that they don't care.Yikes, I was hoping it was a fluke. I wonder why that tunnel is so difficult to maintain.
None of them were on when we were there the last weekend of July. It was total darkness. I'd never seen that before.Someone posted a POV to YouTube the other day in which, hilariously, none of the lights in the blue tunnel were functional/turned on. It’s possible a refurb is warranted.
Heading to the park tonight. Will be sure to ride this as well as OG Mansion before they go away for a while.

Especially since those tunnel lights seem like something that should be relatively easy to fix when the park is closed.
