Souvenirs that travel well

A good friend of mine will be traveling to Disney World in a little bit over a month. Needless to say, the green eyed monster is rearing it's head but I am very excited for him. I've mentioned to him that I may need him to purchase a souvenir for me to hold me over until my next trip in 2011. What are some of your ideas for souvenirs that I could have him purchase (I will be giving him money) that would travel well? Obviously t-shirts and other clothing travels well, but is there something "different" that you guys could suggest?

I wish a churro, dole whip or lefse could make it back to North Carolina but that won't be happening.

We have been lucky with our ornaments and always bring a Micky Rice Krispie treat for some of my kids friends. I also like the soap with the mickey heads them from Basin at DTD, they have lots of other cool shapes in the slices. I have gotten the palm tree beach ball, jack o lantern, coffee beans and a bunch more for people that have takend care of our house while we were gone. I also like the magnets/picture frame and fun things like spatula with mickey ears for thoose who like to cook.
You have a lucky friend and you are a great friend.

Last trip I returned with about 7 rice krispie treats, but they somehow never got out of the house and to the people I was going to give them to. But, they sure were yummy! :D

I always bring a caramel apple home for my wife or mother in law. Vinylmations if you are into it. Or my favorite napkins. The ones available at all quick service locations.

Pins, magnets, picture frames, antenna toppers...things that are on the small side and can be tucked into clothing or shoes and not get broken.

A box of assorted fudge from Goofys Candy Co or from the Boardwalk; OR some bags of chocolate covered Mickey pretzels. Then you could put a DVD on and munch the night away :slurp:.

antenna toppers, DVD's,shot glasses...

You mean toothpick holders?? ; )

Most of the non food souvenirs will travel well. Their special hats (mouse ears and the like) not so much as they tend to require space. Anything that isn't breakable, so no dishes, crystal, etc. Clothing, vinylmation, toys, pins all should be fine.

Cups - like the 4 pack of plastic character cups - they can be taken out of the package and stacked so take up little room.
