southwest question

Thank you. My mom's alseep now, but I'll ask her when she wakes up. Me and my cousin are pretty scared of planes so if were not sitting together it won't be good. And this is the first time I'm flying without my mom.
You'll be fine - don't worry about that!
Who booked your flight?

My mom booked it, but my grandpa was there with her, she probably needed his information. She may have even booked it on the phone because his computer is so slow.

Then she would have your reservation number. There is probably one reservation with all of your names on it. Just go to the Southwest website and click where it says Online checkin. They'll ask for that number, and after you type it in, a list of names on that reservation will come up. You'll need to check off each of them, then print your boarding passes - it will give you one for each person on the reservation, and your names will be on them, as well as a big letter (A,B,or C) indicating which group you'll be in to board.

We generally always fly southwest and have never had a problem with getting seats together- although I end up preboarding most of the time (generally have little kids with me). Now, my DH and I get there about 2 hours early- print our passes out the day before and sit at the front of the line if we don't have the kids because he needs a specific area (he's tall) and I need a window preferably not near the wing (I have claustophobia and need to see outside as much as possible)
The one thing I have noticed about southwest lately (after watching the tv show airplane) is that they tend to overbook their flights and if you are checking it at the last minute you may not have a seat at times. I don't know realistically how how often that happens because as I said, we get there very early.
I am sure that you will be fine, just take all the advice about printing out the passes the day before :)
