Southwest for December?

Does anyone have an idea of when flights are usually released for December?

I think it was only last week they extended the schedule to its prior limit, which was early August, so I'd think it'll be at least a few more months.

On March 8 they will open up their schedule to November 3, so my guess would be sometime in mid-April at the earliiest.

Just did a little checking - last year they opened up December booking on June 2; in 2015 it was May 14

Where’d you check? I’m heading down Nov 7th, was poking around the inter webz for that info.

On May 31st they will open flights thru Jan 6th
