Southern Departure Port Change?

It's been reported that instead of leaving from the Old San Juan port as originally stated, they are changing to leave from Pan American Pier. Tammy, I know you had/have a Southern booked, any truth to this rumor? If so, I might want to change my hotel.

I do have a Southern booked! I have not been notified of the change yet but I'll call Disney tomorrow and see what I can find out.

Lots of conflicting information out there but it looks like the new information could be correct. I'll post if I get confirmation.

Just called and spoke with a DCL agent who called guest services. He confirmed that the Southern will be sailing from the Pan Am Pier. The confusion is that the Fantasy sails out of Pier 4 in Old San Juan because it's too large to fit in Pan Am Pier.

Great! That's the first I've heard of a regular DCL agent confirming.

@Disneyfalcon Which sail date? We're on the last sailing so hopefully we'll get some pointers before we leave!!

I'm booked on the October 4th sailing! Unfortunately my hubby's work schedule is not cooperating with that date right now so it's iffy. I haven't been able to bring myself to cancel it yet though! Just in case!
