South Florida Storms

I hate the weather here in S. Fla.!!! It's either hot enough to sunburn you or a thunder storm! About 10 min ago, I heard a thundercalp that sounded and felt like a bomb went off. Why can't it either be rainy or sunny for the whole day and not change just about EVERY hour or 2??

You are correct!

Yes, I know what you mean. I lived in Homestead, FL for six years (1977 until 1983) and I was glad to leave. As I told all my friends when I left, "I am finally going to see south Florida the way I have always wanted to see it...in my rear view mirror for the last time!". Also my former house did survive hurricane Andrew. At least you can see the thunderstorms before they hit. Small consolation. I decided to leave south Florida because on January 1, 1983 I was mowing my lawn and the temperature was 88 degrees F and the humidity was 100%. Too darn hot for me! Jimmy Buffett can keep the place!

KEWL does not begin to describe the electrical storms...
I for on love them as long as I don't get hit by lightning.
