"Sounds like" Disney music

I am searching for music that "sounds like" Disney - not necessarily real park music, but something that will remind me of WDW area music when I hear it. I am particularly interested in orchestral scores. I like lots of piano and strings. I'm looking for anything that I can purchase or download. By way of illustration: my favorite MP3 (so far) is the EPCOT entrance music that I have found at several locations (I know - it has lots of brass, woodwinds, etc. - it's still my favorite), I also love Reflections of Earth. I have found that this music is especially relaxing - my wife will probably think I'm nuts.
Also, thank you :sohappy: to everyone who makes their collection available for download.

BTW - is this the correct forum for this thread?

If you had asked for international music or new age music, I could've given you a huge list of recommendations. Piano and strings are a bit harder.

One of my favorite CD's is Mannheim Steamroller Meets the Mouse-it is Disney music, but all instrumental. It's a great CD.
I always enjoy their Christmas music, so I'll have to give this one a try.

Sounds like a good time to broaden my horizons.

If you want to get the feeling of Epcot and/or Tomorrowland, you need to go with new age music. The old Tomorrowland background loop was comprised of a bunch of songs by actual new age artists.

 Thankfully, no. Try Ray Lynch. Deep Breakfast is a good place to start (I have this cd and LOVE it) - Celestial Soda Pop, The Oh of Pleasure, Rhythm in the Pews, and Tiny Geometries are all played in Epcot (Wonders of Life pavilion). Also, check out David Lanz. His song Behind the Waterfall is (or at least was) on the New Tomorrowland loop (I think they've changed the loop). And check out Vangelis who does one of my personal favorite songs from the old New Tomorrowland loop, Elsewhere. BTW, Vangelis has done several movie soundtracks as well...most notable, Chariots of Fire, Bladerunner, The Bounty, and Alexander.
I don't think their/his music is played in the parks, but Kitaro is incredible! The music is very Disneyesque, and rather cinematic.

I'll post you some links to some awesome international music later. :)

"Behind the Waterfall" was on the 1989-2003 Tomorrowland loop.

Thanks for posting the links. I definately want to try out some of this.

No problem :) Check out Ray Lynch and Kitaro for sure!

And, if I'm not mistaken, the last time I rode the train (which has been quite a while ago), they still played Behind the Waterfall. They might have changed that, though, since the last time I was there.
I miss the old New Tomorrowland loop :(
