Somewhat Last Minute Christmas Trip…Which DVC Resort?!?

Help! So I am taking my sister & future bro-in-law to WDW as a Christmas gift for a little sibling bonding time. My future bro-in-law (FBiL) has never been to WDW before. Our family has been DVC members since 94, so we've been a FEW times. We will be there 4 days/3 nights & will be doing a studio. OKW is our home resort, but after a recent stay at the GF Villas it just cemented in my mind how long transportation from OKW & SSR takes. I know the studios at OKW have 2 actual beds (bonus), but I think FBiL would really dig the theming of VWL or AKL. I also know he will enjoy some adult beverages around World Showcase, so BWV or BCV would be a great choice too. I've also heard amazing things about the Christmas Decor at WL and ALK, and it's been 10+ years since we've been at Christmas. Another factor: Sister & I have never stayed at VWL, ALK, or BCV, and we would love to stay somewhere new this trip, if it works. Assuming that the booking gods are with me, and any/all of these have availability, what would you choose?

You may want to see what's available first - then decide from that. I seem to remember a thread not long ago from someone that tried to get a DVC at Christmas but nothing was available? Hopefully that's not the case and I am mis-remembering. Good luck and have a great trip!

I just did a quick check for studios and 1 bedrooms at all DVC resorts and I couldn't find a room open for more then one day during the week of December 21st through the 28th. Reservations change all the time but it'll be hard to find something on this short notice.

I hope you do find something and have a great time.

I've been able to find availability, but we are looking at the week before, which I'm hoping should be helpful. Fingers crossed!
