something new in the mail???

So our trip isn't until September 2013 and yesterday I received a booklet in the mail from Disney. The front cover read "Our Story, Smith family Vacation" (not our last name) with a picture of characters from Toy Story. Inside the booklet has our confirmation number, dates, our resort and a page for writing down our ADR's. I loved all the personal touches in this booklet including the average temperature for September. What a great surprise right after Christmas!! Not sure if this is a repeated thread since I haven't been on the computer in awhile.

Is this something new or did I not get one in March because we booked through a travel agent?

We got one of those a couple months ago. Others said Disney has been doing it for a while.

Our trip is in September also and I received the same booklet yesterday. It was a welcomed piece of mail in the middle of a snow storm!

My parents got it..Apparently you only get it if you did a package deal...I got the one with the Disney characters on the Monorail and I did Room only..

We got one for both trips in 2012. One was a package and the other was room only. It is always fun to get mail from WDW. We just got ourthank you card in the mail for our MVMCP trip.

We received 2 actually but did make changes to our trip after we received the first one. It was the first time we have received anything like this before.
